You should run an emu because I said so...

haha jk well the way I look at it is with the emu you can grow, meaning if you want to do more later you can unlike the vafc its pretty limited what you can do I know I've seen people with s/c tuned with vafc but many of them switch to a different ems after a while because the vafc has limited capabilities.

those guys in the NE, twiztid and giles, were pulling gains of like 30hp in the midrange on relatively stock cars (no ITBs there)

EMU is what I'm definitely going with, screw an AEM EMS or even the FI/C

Version...realistically, a lot of people out there suck at tuning the S or a lot of cars for that matter . It seems that you have found a good tuner. In the hands a of good tuner, the EMU will make more power then a VAFC...how much more? Maybe not much, but it will be more power with a safer more reliable tune.

BTW, I might actually be getting my car back in a few weeks.

I'm doing EMU, waiting for the harness right now, another 10 wheel on top of the vafc numbers is ok with me. I had about $500 in the vafc with a tune and all I'll have twice that in the EMU. So still the same money to power ratio hahah.
