exhaust leak?

Default exhaust leak?

i think i may have an exhaust leak. my question is.. i put on the spugen single ti exhaust and megan racing test pipe.. the leak seems to be comming from between the test pipe and the stock header.. was i supposed to replace some kindof gasket in there? how tight do those bolts need to be? should there be any play in the springs at all? thanks.

Those springs should be fully compressed. You should have had one of these metal "donuts" between the header and the front of the test pipe:
Top - middle ..................

Did you leave it in there? Also, the old donut may have formed to the shape of the old flange and may not be able to take on the shape of the one on the test pipe.

yeah i kept the old one in there but who know what kindaof condition its in.... also i didnt compress those springs all the way.. is there a part number on that donut? place to buy online? thanks!

The part number is on the label on the package in the picture, however, this is a Canadian part, so the number may not be the same. Go here to find the part number and order:
