I get a lot of how much more power does it make? Too...but honeslty right now I don't know, I plan to go do a little dyno tuning on Wednesday and find out. But Honestly I don't expect to be over 230whp anymore. If I am, awesome, and can it be? Yes, I made 263whp on Autowave's tune, but it was so aggressive that the motor burned up in 3 days. I'm running it safe now, I just want reliable fun.

28 degrees of peak timing when 20 degrees is the most that is beneficial and knock starts at about 22. And way too much timing in the lower rpm's too...so basically it was just knocking all the way up. And it was also runing ~ 13.9-14.0 A/F with the timing.

Anyway, with the A/F down at 12.7-12.9 and 20 degrees of timing it made 251whp 188wtq on a dynapack that stock AP1's usually get 200.

kail007, I built a destroked k24 to a 2.2L 3 years ago using an AP2 crank. We were going for a long rod/stroke and high revs. The crank snout needed to be modified to accept the Kseries crank sprocket.

Have you checked the crank sprocket/chain alignment yet? You may want to measure both crank snouts before you get too far ahead.

Can't wait to see the results!

Thanks! And that sounds like a cool K24 setup, or should I call it a K22? My crank pulley mounts fine but since the engine is on a stand, I haven't been able to check the alignment for the accessory belt. As far as the sprocket goes, that seems to be fine. When I installed the oil pump it lined up perfect, so I am assuming the timing chain will too but I will know for sure when I get my head back from the machine shop.

This is my F25, Kyle's F24 will be pretty similar. We have the same stroke, but I am bored 2mm over. He has mentioned running some additional mods, where as I only have a testpipe and K&N filter. Just to give you an idea:

Good luck with everything, hope it turns out great! Does anyone know if this would be possible with am AP2 engine or is it only possible with an AP1?
