What is the system that comes with Comptech supercharger? Hondata or their own system?

just wanna get into adjusting the afr a bit. I'm sure it's running rich in stock form.

what do you guys use to tune anyway? I can't do the standalone yet. that's next year.

The cheapest will be a vafc. The vortech/comptech stuff doesn't include engine management. It includes something, but that something doesn't allow a/f adjustments. It has a name, but I can't think of it currently.

For the price you could step up to the emanage ultimate. It requires a harness and can also do a/f as well as timing which the vafc doesn't.

vafcII is available for ap1s, however if you are going to be getting an aem ems next year, why waste the money for a piggyback + tuning?

 

apparently hondata is working on a k-pro reflash for the pre-06's, it's supposed to be out soon

 

basically i'm tring to see if I could run emanage on a turbo setup.

aem ems is nice, but emission testing is just too much of a headache.

 

you can run emanage just fine with turbo, just know that you wont get near the tuning capability as the aem, but you will pass obdII inspection
