ok , 2QYK4U
i know u are the only one 06 with a standalone ECU for my06+ s2000's .
And i think the one u using it is from Hondata too right?
If so, they are probably coming out about the same time as (Jackson Racking Super Charger).
Otherwise how will (Jackson Racing) tune thier SC.
No, I am not the only one with a stand-alone ECU for the MY06. There are several MY06 owners with the AEM EMS setup designed by Mike @ AutoWave.

those are not the original made, it made all the DBW funtions gone, also CEL light stays on , that 's why i had seen some people trying to sale it after they got it, with thin a couple months only.

AEM will not be making an EMS for the MY06+ S2000. If you want to use an AEM EMS on the MY06+, you need to get the special wiring harness for Mike @ AutoWave. Yes, you lose VSA and cruise control functionalities, and the check engine light will stay on.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand--Hondata.

talk to jdmnissan.. aka james from the midwest he is running kpro on his turbo setup..

i had kpro on my rsx and wow what a difference it made. I dont know if it will do much for the s2000, but i know doug from hondata will do something nuts for the s2000.. im hoping to install it soon in the s2k.. i have my kpro from my rsx and im waiting for the oem parts to come in.. i like kpro because of the fact that it is so user friendly.. someone tried to explain aem ems to me and wow it was nuts and confusing

Engine management systems don't make power--they enable power to be made. The same power can be made whether it be from K-Pro, AEM EMS, F-CON V Pro, etc.. The amount of power to made is attributed to the capabilities of the tuner with all other things remaining equal.

its all in the tune. if you have a good tuner, you can make any car fast...

how many people on here have hondata reflash? I'm curious to the performance and their opinion. I saw and read their dyno and describtion but want real users to give me their thoughts as that is where I am heading One great benefit I see is the raised rev limiter to 8600

Really...if that is the case, the my 1052 EMS is for sale!
Wrong move.

Your AEM EMS is far superior and cheaper than this Hondata gadget.

Please use the search feature. There are several Hondata reflash threads in this forum which will provide you with the feedback you are looking for, to include feedback from me.
