not bad, just used some throttle springs and hooked them around the spare horn mounting points on each throttle body - so far they have not come off.

Have you guys actually done back to back dynos with and without filters? I only lost 1hp so I wouldn't worry about using proper filters on the horns.

I'm not an advocate for the butt dyno but I could literally and definitively feel the drop of power big time with foam filters...

Your butt is off.

I have the UNI foam filters and I've done runs back to back (15 min cool offs) with and without on 3 seperate dyno tunes sessions (on dynapacks) and the difference was 1-2 hp each time. So I'm giving you actually proof, which is more accurate than your standard butt dyno.

I think what was off was my filter type - particularly because the distance between my horns - ie. none - does not allow me to use sock type filters.

so which is it, are you turboed, ITB, both...?

My previous car before the s2000 were turbo (Eclipse GSX, Galant VR4). I used the same sign-on from another board. I kept the s2000 N/A, so I went the ITB route way back when. The UNI filters I use were designed specifically for Hayward when I tried to buy from UNI, they wouldn't let me and said I had to get Lance to order them for me.

I see, were they sock-type? - I didn't get my set up from Lance... here is the clearance of my horns:
