he has an 06 with the F20C engine and DBW.. so basically if he installs the 2.2L stroker kit wouldnt the OEM F22C ECU work well with the kit?
(toda offers a kit with the exact same displacement as the USDM F22C engine)
ofcourse there r some minor differences with EDM 06 cars and the USDM 06.. like the type of fuel in europe, foglight button, and not having cruise control.. i assume maybe those things would have an effect?

Is there anyone on this entire forum who runs a Motec ECU in a daily driven car? How about the wiring?
Maybe the Motec is better than the AEM an sich, but when you see that there is a plug and play AEM, my choice would be easily made.

In fact, I don't know you could get support for the kits, if you don't use the Motec, as that is what the companies all use.

I don't really know if these cars all use a Motec ECU (well except for the ASM car), but they don't seem daily drivers to me
I've did a search and there aren't even Australian owners who use it (because of the wiring loom I guess).
I"ll ask our Motec importer about, but on their site they say that it is for race use only.
Time to make a few phone calls!
