Thumbs up J's Tsuchinoko intake CARB legal?

I have to get my car smogged next month and I was wondering if my car will pass smog with only a J's intake. Has anyone tried it? Also, since I have a aftermarket steering wheel, my SRS light is always on. Will they take note of that as well?

Thanks!
Jet

So if it does not pass visual, the whole test does not pass?

I have my stock air box with me. I just don't want to hassle taking it off and putting it back on. (Yea I'm lazy!)

If I won't pass visual, then I have no choice but to put the stock box in.

Some places in Sac don't care as long as you have all the Smog lines hooked up to the intake as long as you pass the roller test. Just call/drop by some somg shops and ask if the intake pass the visual.

I'm pretty sure a japanese company like J's who's products you have to import to the US isn't out there certifying their products to meet CARB regulations.....

The intake is not CARB approved or tested. which steetrign wheel hub do you have? some are supplied with the SRS bypass wire to complete the circuit. I belive that you will have to go to the dealer tho, and have them reset the code.
