stock runnign pattern is not optimal for cooling compared to S pattern.

Also, with S pattern, there's less of a chance a bad encounter with rock will drain all ur fluids

thats correct...stock pattern is not AS good as S pattern as well as others. However, I have never had a problem with the stock radiator, especially with cooling mods...

so with the increased volume and capacity of the koyo it also has an increased capacity to cool. So it IS much better then stock, while maybe not quite as good as the others. And we already know the price differences

Honestly, for daily driving the Koyo will suffice. If you want JDM bling for daily driving then I would go with Mugen, Spoon, or as Ben has mentioned Calsonic. Good luck.
