Jdm F20 on 91 Octane.
You can run 11.7:1 on 91 but the ecu may have to pull some timing.
Octane boost would stop detonation but remember that those boosters have less energy content then the primary compenents of gasoline, so you may not notice much difference in performance.

Octane booster is meant to help prevent detonation.
The higher the octane, the slower the fuel burns, therefore you can control timing more aggressively which makes more power.
On a stock ecu, the high the octane the less chess for detonation, and also less horsepower the car will make.

I have a JDM car, with a JDM engine.
I believe that you 91 octane is the same as our 95 RON.
There is NO WAY i'd let my car be run on 95
The minimum I put in is 97 RON (or 93 Octane), but mostly 99 RON (95 Octane?)
Still, at $11/gallon, it's not cheap, but then 95 RON is $10/gallon
I knew a guy who had a JDM EVO V. He ran it on 95 and it melted a piston.
