The OFFICIAL Amuse Thread
I so wish I had the money to slap down on one of those Amuse R1 Front bumpers. It will always be my favorite front bumper besides the Honda AP1 front.
But I'm saving for a wedding in October and getting closer to buying my first house. So obviously my priorities have changed.
I think when all is said and done, and I've settled into my home I'll plog down a small loan from the bank (not a stupid credit card) and order the R1 bumper and quite possibly a Spoon "BP Remix" hardtop.
Keep the goods comin'! This thread is one of my top favorites on S2ki!!

^ I feel you 100% man! I'm married w/ 2 kiddos, and really had no way of justifying a S in the first place. When it comes down to it, I don't know that there would ever be a "good" reason to justify one.
I've listened to many people speak of doing this and that when retirement roles around, but hell, I don't see crawling in and out of this thing at 70!
I guess I finally decided it's now or never, justified or not. I do wish I was more patient, and went the loan route myself. It's gonna take a lot of side jobs to pay those cc statements off!
Will it be worth it? Hell yes!

That is an excellent way to look at things.
Alright maybe this is a little off topic but I just finished watching Gran Turino on DVD and I feel the same way Clint Eastwood does. If thru good ole' honest respect and being deserving of such a car, I would hand off my car to someone close in my life who had earned it. Especially when I reach my golden years...
But the journey it would take to get there would be fun and very well awarding I believe too.

I'm loving the enthusiasm.
Congratulations on the house and the wedding.
We just ordered two Amuse R1 front bumpers that we ordered for stock; so hopefully one will be around for when you are ready

I'll cross my fingers but I know that good things take time and patience is one thing I have learned, especially about doing things the right way on cars, etc...
