Has anyone on the site done a custom intake manifold and/or a throttle body? If so, i am wondering the specs on the? Any idea an the gains from both of them? thank you.

 

I just did a 72mm BDL throttle body along with boring out the manifold. I had racingtechnologyco.com do the work, took them about 3.5 hours. There was a lot of welding involved, car runs great and throttle response is much improved. gains....I'd say none but it improves throttle response lol. I spent about 750-800 just to make it work. I think a 70mm is much less work, I could be wrong.

 

I did 70mm BDL and portmatched the intake manifold to the TB and the p&p cylinder head. No idea of gains specific to this part only, my objective was just to avoid any bottlenecks starting from intake and ending at the exhaust.

I had my intake welded and opened up to 70mm and have a BDL 70mm TB... I doubt there are gains... just better throttle response
