I am most likely going to buy the Vortech. So I will be able to use the header. My question is; Is the Invidia header as good as the Berks or the Megan?

I would like to have a full Invidia Exhaust minus the test pipe.

Oh ya, sorry about that I read Vortech, but thought Turbo . In that case I would leave out just the intake.

As far as the header Invidia, Berk and Megan are probably really close to the same thing (really only helping by reducing weight) There will be some gains to be had, but they will be minimal. Get the one you can get the best deal on .

If you want the best HP for your money get the Vortech SC, AEM EMS, and call John at hytech for the header. He can build you a long tube header that will reduce weight like Megan, Berk, and Invidia and his header will have a built in test pipe (not really, but the header will mount up to the exhaust and will eliminate the cat) His header will net you much more power than any other header available for the S2000.

This route will cost you a pretty penny, but it will net results .

As for exhaust have you heard the invidia before? I only ask because I had that same exhaust for about 2 weeks and sold it because it droned so damn much. It did sound great at WOT, but I could not hear my radio or have a conversation without yelling at my passanger (cell phone, dont even answer it if you are between 3500 and 4500 RPM's ). Singles will make the most power and if you are worried about sound try a 70mm ASM they are very quiet and lighter than the Invidia .

Sorry for the long post and good luck with the build

I am most likely going to purchase the Megan test pipe w/resanator to try and eliminate some of the drone.

Hopefully I won't be able to hear my wife telling me to slow down.

No issues with the long post. The help and advice is thanks enough.

I am on a self set budget, so I am trying to keep the price to a minimum.

Finally decided on a setup

Invidia V3
K&N FIPK
Megan Racing tp
Invidia Header
Apexi S-AFC Neo

Only question is, will the Neo be sufficient to tune this setup, and what will I need to install?

You can tune it with an S-AFC, but a V-AFC would be better cause the tuner can mess with vtech engagement

But it will work for A/F ratios

The new S-AFC Neo can adjust VTEC.

I scraped the idea of the header and I am going tp purchase the Emanage Ultimate instead of the S-AFC Neo.

Would it be worth it to get the 70mm T1R test pipe over a 63mm from berk or Invidia?
