ASM Ti for sure. You may also consider the Trust Ti (rated at 95db):

As a generalization:

test pipes reduce drone, but increase db's

duals are *almost* always quieter than singles

the asm single exhausts (especially titanium) would be the lightest and quietest. giff is going crazy over the asm stainless single right now after hearing somebody drive by with one. he has seriously brought it up daily for the past 10 days. he is currently running the j's 70rr so anything would be quieter then that...but in his opinion on exhausts he feels the asm single is the best sounding out there.

we are actually having a sale on exhausts right now as well, the asm ones are included in there as is the Mugen as well.

Aaron - Man,everytime I see that Trust Ti, I same to myself - I would love to have that exhaust - Shipping is killer expensive though with it being 1 piece and all... This sucks. If you guys have a blowout sale, let me know and I will pick one up.

I am so undecided on exhausts

1) I found a new magnaflow Ti for cheap but read stuff in archives that said it was JIC and the resonator goes bad, also resonator dropped it to 1.5" piping

2) I like the T1R 63mm system for the price - looks like you have one too.

3) The J's FX60 is super tempting, but the price is too much..

4) Then, there's that trust Ti --- How about the resonator on it, can you tell if it necks down?

I'm just curious as to why spend money on exhuast when not concerned about gains. If not concerned about power gains... why be concerned about saving weight? Anyways, I would say Amuse Euro as well.
i welcome gains via improved power/weight ratio, either by shedding weight or gaining power. I daily drive my car, and i personally think that s2k's are not the best sounding cars when not in vtec, therefore i am looking for an exhaust that isnt as bulky and ugly as the factory unit, and also one which is lighter, so that i can justify spending over $1000 on an upgrade which isnt simply upgrading the appearence of my car, but the performance as well, as slight as it may be.

I wish they made the toda in Ti. I love the looks

I've had loud spugen single ti and ive had deep not too loud RS*R exmag II and right now im the happiest its the oe resonator section with 2.5" piping back to a no name 2.5" N1 muffler and it sounds good not too loud just perfect for my taste and best of all no drone and cheap.

Toda does not come in Ti... it's very similar in design to Mugen. I believe both weigh around 30+ lbs, so they'll save you 20 lbs over stock.

I was looking for the lightest and quietest single just like you, and I ended up with the j's 60RS. I love mine. Full ti construction, ~9 lbs, and it's quieter than some duals. Little to NO drone while cruising on the freeeway. Everyone who's heard it loves it. If you get one, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I have two friends that have it... very quiet
