The engine bay is still MC Blue on the newest BMI and HVI videos. In the latest they added the R1 front camber arms, AP2 rear subframe, rear control arms, gurney flap on the wing and the R1 front bumper with '04 headlights and taillights.

Oh ok, you guys are probably right. I just finished watched the JDM Hot Version #76 and in one of the segments the title read "Amuse S2K '04 Spec". I thought it was since I saw the '04 and up headlights and rear bumper.

yeah, thats the video I saw with the "official" updates, but I think I have at least one newer video where the engine bay is still MC blue.

Do you download them or do you have the JDM DVDs? I'm trying to get my hands on some of the newer Hot Versions.

The secret weapon of the amuse s2000 is the alignment setup. Even if you buy the same parts, you wont be even close to it, because the alingment requires a lot of effort and experience.
And if you want to be as quick as the amuse s2000 you dont have to spend your money on the $6000 hardtop, you can start with the coilovers, tires, wheels, brake system, wing, etc. Because if you spend all your money to get all the exterior parts, you will end up with a slow amuse-like s2000

Good luck

haha, yup. check my sig.

Anyway, I usually buy JDM DVD's. I just bought Hot Version Vol. 79 from Bulletproof. I gotta send back the American Touge 1 video they sent me by mistake, though. I got that one a long time ago cuz I worked for Charlie at Top Setup last summer. Anyway, Vol. 79 has American Touge 2, Amuse GT1 S2K first drive, and '06 2.2L First drive.

It looks like the end of the month the US version will be out.

Doesn't the Amuse S2000 also use Amuse's carbon fiber doors? Didn't see those listed.
Also, if you want to be as fast as you see the Amuse S2000 in BMI videos, you better add some significant track time/driving school to your list of mods

Maxrev has a pretty good explanation on the whole non-staggered thing on his site.

http://www.maxrev.net/index.php?location=widetires.htm

I think if you setup the car for non-staggered wheel/tire sizing, it can greatly increase the capabilities of the car.

Also, I'm going to be updating that section with a number of new modifications that are on their way.

Jakup: Amuse does not make carbon doors for the S2000, only the Fairlady Z. ASM, however, does make cf doors.
