What are the specs of the Amuse S2000?
A couple of more things to add relevant to the topic.
I didnt see the Amuse Big Brake Kit listed as parts used on the touge monster. It should also be noted that they rolled the hell out of the front fender, it's really stretched when you see it in person.
Amuse's goal for their Touge Monster was to create a livable car that could be driven every day with full interior. From what I recall they decided to keep the air conditioning and the cruise control despite all of the heavy modification.
On the otherhand the new GT1 S2000 they've built is all business. Option Magazine featured the car for the first time last month. The result...I'll be the only shop crazy enough to be stocking the complete Amuse GT1 widebody kit. I ordered up 4 widebodies on the spot after seeing the feature.
The aero parts are amazing, but the engine specifications are unlike anything I've ever seen...they use a GT-R spec sequential transmission and GT-R drivetrain. The engine has a mix of parts including Jun connecting rods from a Prelude engine which I hadnt seen done before. The whole car is REDICULOUS. I encourage all of you who can get ahold of Option Magazine to get last month's issue, it's straight S2000 $$$$$$.
The GT1 will eventually deserve it's own thread itself because there is a LOT more to talk about there. Unfortunately besides the Option feature I havent seen may other released specs or photos of the car.

Thanks for the replies everybody!
Okay, well I did some math and it looks like by Oct. I will have around $6k to spend after this deployment. Bulletproof is giving a good deal on the 70RR at the moment and I CAN AFFORD IT!!!
If I buy it now then I'll have roughly $4.2k in Oct., which for me is good enough if I can manage my money well until the next deployment.
Okay, so when I go and put the 70RR on, what should I expect with everything else stock?
I know there is going to be a little gain but will it be noticable enough?
Should I just get gears (ricks 4.57) instead to satisfy my butt dyno?
If you can put yourself in my position: "If you had $6k, but only wanted to spend a max of $2k-$2.5k, what would you get?"

jk
anyhow i think your best bet would be what you want. get what you want cause from the looks of it your on the right track
my advice would be to focus soley on suspension and jus that.
coils stb's etc and the car will be that much more to drive

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the gears won't give you any gains in horsepower. You will only feel the fast and quick acceleration.
If I had about 2.5k to spend, I'd get the header and exhaust combo!

As for suspension, I'm going to wait it out a little, maybe cut/heat my springs for the time being... jk lol. I don't know jack about suspension so i'm going to have to do some research on it. Any good links?
And for my first mods I'm going to get J's e & h. I might as well since I have the cash and when I get home they'll be sitting there for me. The gears I can wait out for now.
I'm sure I'll have more question soon, thanks for everything, you have all been a great help!
