Does anyone know how much the installation would cost including parts and labor? Swap out the 2001 whole convertible top and replace it with a 2002 up convertible top.

Anyone in Mid-A know how to do it?

moparaker knows how to do a retro fit buti dont think he does them anymore. track down an 02 frame. thats what i did and it made everything easier.

that and new ellastic straps. me and 2 other people did this on my 00. i bought a 02 top brand new from my dealership and bought a spare 02 frame. between the 3 of us it took about 8 hours. if we did it again it'd take a lot less. that was the first time we had ever done a top install.

the frame i picked up for 200, the top was 750 with my discount. hardtop guy sells oem tops around there. i think for a 02+ top is about 800 shipped. my friend ended up giving me a pair of ellastic straps but i think modifry sells them for about 10 bucks.

so about 950 total for me. doing the install with a few friends definitely saved me a good 400-600 in labor.

I work at an upholstery shop in Bel Air MD...we can put the top on for you, and even get you the stuff you need if you havnt already.
