Turbo XS & AndrewTech's TNT Autox Event - $15 and free food!
The next CDC autox is sponsored by AndrewTech and Turbo XS (they are paying for the food and part of the entry fee).
This autox will be a Test and Tune event with no points. We plan to run event with the typical 4 heats with 3 runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon (like a normal CDC autox).
The entry fee will be $15 for all participants (half price of the normal member rate and only 37.5% of the non-member rate). Add the free food and you won't find a better value anywhere!
This TNT autocross will be beginner-friendly, perfect for those that ever wanted to try out autocross.
The field will be limited, and we expect the field to fill up extremely quickly. So make your reservations at www.capitaldrivingclub.com as soon as possible. We ask that you only make a reservation if you will definitely be there.
Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:45 to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute.
On-line Reservation System
Member AND non-member reservations for this event can be made at this time. Space will be limited so we ask that you only make a reservation if you plan to attend. If you make a reservation and can not attend, e-mail me at capitaldriving@yahoo.com so that we can allow others to take your place.
New Bar Code System
This year CDC is using a new bar code system. Remember to have your car ready with the barcodes on the vehicle BEFORE the event. Attached are the bar code instructions, driver barcodes, and vehicle index bar codes. If you have a problem, we can also print your barcodes at the event, if need be.
New Members
We will be accepting new members at this event. If you plan to join the club at this event, you may make a reservation at this time by doing the following:
1. Use "0" as the member number (a permanent number will be assigned to you after you join and you will get a temporary number for this event)
2. TYPE "I will be joining the club at this event" in the NOTES section when making you reservation.
The annual membership is $30 and is good for 12 months from the date you join.
Road Rally
In addition to the TNT, we will also be runing a Road Rally, separate from the autox. This is the 3rd Annual Historic Landmarks of Frederick County Road Rally
This begins as a no-traps pleasure run through Frederick County.
There will be three awards given: Vintage, Novice and Experienced Classes.
Regustration fee is $30 per car. Registration begins at 9 am and will close at 10 am the morning of the rally. First car off will be at 10:30 am
The rally will take several hours along the back roads starting in Frederick, MD. Joe Macinnes is the CDC point of contact. For any questions, e-mail Joe at joemacinnes@yahoo.com
If you have any other comments or questions, please feel free to contact me.

STR is in the very first morning heat.
Anyone else going to the WDCR SCCA this Sunday? I see more S2000s in STR.

Still registered as F125 pending weather, but from the looks of it I'll probably be coming down to play in STR.
You guys got rained on? Hell....we had a few hours of sunshine out at Cumberland....dry as a bone all day. Ended up winning BSP over another 8-9 cars/drivers.
