I registered, but I ended up going out to Summit for the nationals both days. I wasn't sold it was going to be dry Sunday afternoon. We got rained on up there. Were you FTD? how big was the lot? I just bought some koni yellows to pop on front while my DA's are off getting rebuilt (again) for several weeks.

 

I have OTS Konis and I either want to have them converted to DAs or replace them with DAs. I've had them for a year and they are just sitting in my garage. Any recommendations?

 

I have been running ots TC Kline (same as Marc P and some other fast BS guys) DA's for a while. For some reason they all leak in the front on 350z's. I am happy with the rears as is, but want a bit more rebound (going to bump up spring rates as well). They will be on their way to truechoice next week....hopefully. It is something like 400-500 to have truechoice convert your existing SA's (yellows) to DA's.

 

Yeah, I just tried to buy a set of those used (not available anymore IIRC). I got really busy with work and by the time I got back to him, he had installed them. I think its $325 a peice to have each converted. If I could get all of them done for $500, they'd be on their way tomorrow.

 

I meant 400-500 a piece, but I was just generalizing the cost....believe it or not I bought my tc klines for 500 bucks ! They were ~2k new.

Yes, I had FTD in my morning runs.I used the afternoon runs for testing,I have no idea where to see the results...the lot was not really big but it was ok, the grip was great.

Are you going to Delaware?

 

Yeah, I was talking to him about buying them and then went to ATL and had a busy work week catching up. When I did get back with him he had put them on his new car, so, I don't know. I told him I'd still take them but he hasn't decided whether to take them off or not.

I'll definitely see you in Delaware. I should be getting in mid day Friday for a couple test and tune runs.

 

Check out the revised street prepared proposal in the June Fastrack. Might bring some of the STR cars back if adapted. I would have to think an s2000 with allowable mods would be very competitive.
