I won't complain either way...I have been dry for the first 6 events.

Cumberland put out the invites for the annual Devil's Duel....I didn't get an invite. They made it a pre-requisite to attend 3 events this year....I've been to two. I am disappointed. Also, this year they are making it so best pax advances. I had a very strong chance to win.....since Brian K didn't have enough events either.

Think I will run xSTR tomorrow...don't want to hurt anyone in the season standings.

Car was a real handful on the 255's today....with a STRONG push.

I don't think you are going to affect anyone since the season is pretty much set now. And if you place in the top three and get the "bonus points" I have to say you will have surprised me... not because I think you are a poor driver, but because your car is severely outmatched. In the wet you are dealing with ALL cars as threats, and in the dry you are relieved somewhat from the NA Miatas, but have to deal with the STR lineup that is substantial.

Part of the STR fun is dealing with the constraints. It is not stock class, but far from an unlimited class too. It is not a pure driver's class, but it is very hard to win based on setup alone.

We will see. Hopefully the rain passes and it dries out.

The car wasn't particularly good today on the 255's.....just too much weight on the front end with 255's. They were on fire after two relatively short runs. Car had a very strong push as a result.

This was a last minute event development -- Porsche Club of America at Summit Point's Jefferson Circuit (track).

I didn't either, but last minute looked and saw that they were on Jefferson, and not the Washington/Karts surface that I assumed they would be on. Anthony went as well and kicked ass!

Way to go buddy. Lucky I coned that run in the morning

We were the fastest two street tire cars, and the 2nd and 3rd fastest overall (fastest was an Exige on R888s that was slower than my coned run)

Team Honda FTW

The red one was probably Howard Leiken. The datsun in BSP trim would have loved that course.

Got down to a 53.0 in fun runs, but after the third runs the tires were absolutely scorching. There wasn't enough water in the potomac to cool them down for the 4th run......went for a spin cycle late in the 4th run as a result.

Late breaking news. Fun run from Aug 6 CDC Hylton HS. I'm over 1 second slower from my best time on this run. Sorry, I don't know how post you tube screen shot.

Low resolution camera phone.
