Any fellow track junkies use the motive speed bleeder? I like the idea of the system and seems reasonable enough. However, there are some mixed reviews on providing a good seal over the master cylinder.
Any other input on the motive speed bleeder?

Gravity bleed FTW

Had an awesome time today. My instructor Brian was amazing and really helped me learn the track fast as well as work on trying to smooth out my inputs. At the end of every session I would get a little more aggressive and the last one ended up biting me in the ass.

Here is a short video of the impact, the car isn't too bad but needs a bumper/headlight/fender.

I was at Summit Point today also. I was you on the track and was wondering later on where you were. Sorry about your car Hope it'll be fixed in no time. What do you think was the reason you lost control and what should you have done differently?

Beard, I'm sorry you bent some metal today. It looks like you didn't get all the way out to track out for the turn-in for Turn 9 which pinched the corner. When you hit the bump after the apex the rear end came around and your correction was just a little too late. Hitting the inside wall at Turn 9 is pretty common. The combination of the bump after the apex and the back side of the crown in the track (off camber) and applying throttle to power out of Turn 9 is a recipe for oversteer.

Ouch, you are lucky it was a minor hit. A bumper, fender and light are easy to replace for the most part

Yea it looks like a pinch to me, your entry point looked ok but you were trying to stay right of the hump, wheel was still turned to the right.

I aim for the other side of the hump and run parallel to dragons teeth on the left side. You can really open up the corner that way

this. I've learned that an earlier-than-expected apex through 9 actually gives you more space to track out all the way left.. Still sucks to see bent sheet metal, though

I was there for a bit on Saturday before the karting enduro.. Saw Matt, Scot, John, Eric, Kevin, Wonger, etc... Had a great time watching the autobahn race from the top of Eric's new rig and the Thunder group from the press booth area...

Ross (highlift), Brian R (brivera1, IIRC) and I placed 9th out of 22 teams after a late stop and go penalty... We would've been 8th in serious contention for 7th... Oh well, next time.
