Watch out for the tatoo and piercing vendors that will scar you for life!

Seriously, I hope you all have a great time. I will be attending a family wedding in Clevesburgh.

Is this another 'your instructor techs you at grid' style event? I liked that with the last NASA event I did. Saves time instead of trying to line up in the am with the rest of the drivers.

Hey guys, so I am supposed to be getting some KW V3s in the mail tonight. I wasn't planning to get coilovers quite yet, however I found a deal too good to pass up ($1600 shipped, new). In any case, I was going to get them at some point because I hear they are better than stock suspension on the street (and of course track). Do you think I should try and get them installed this week before Hyperfest? Or just do my first event on stock suspension, and do them after?

Personally I would suggest going with the stock suspension this weekend, then putting on the KWs. That way you can feel the difference they make and you won't have to think about adjusting your suspension. You will have enough to worry about this weekend. Good luck doing your first track day at Hypermess.

Go on stock suspension, then do the install and go again. You will get a lot more satisfaction if you have something to compare the improvements to.

I agree. Run the event with OEM and then take your time installing the KWs for your next event. You also need an alignment.

What he meant was, you don't have to line up to tech shed to be inspected, your instrcutor usualy does it in the grid or in the paddock. Make sure to print out the HPDE tech form from the NASA racing site. Fine an independent shop to help you check everything or you can do it yourself. Instruction is in the form, please read it well.

When you arrive and found us unload everything out of your car, get situated, install your numbers and wait for the drivers meeting. Everything else will flow from there.

See you out there. And oh, the new guy always bring in some coffee.

About your new coilovers, i say the same thing as everyone else is saying. Stay with your stock suspension for now that way you will have a baseline for comparison later on.
