Please by rollbar first. Rollbar is like a parachute, you only need it once but if you needed it and you don't have it then you're probably not going to need it anymore.

IIRC, the main reason the cusco bar isn't SCCA legal is the tubing is just slightly thinner than is required (I have no idea how the cusco bar mounts to the car though, so maybe that's a weak point too). I've seen s2k's in the accident thread that have rolled with them and they held up very well. Definitely a big step up from the stock roll hoops.

Ooh I wanna try one...roll bars are like condoms...don't use one and your life might be OVER in just a few seconds (although one you may have 9 mos to contemplate and one is more of the instantaneous nature)

Hmm Track Daze seems to have a lot of M-T and Th-F events, so I would have to rearrange my schedule at work or take off. That being said, it seems for about the same price as Hyperfest that you get "approximately 2 hours per day" seat time. For Hyperfest, we got roughly 75 minutes of track time, so I can see how you are saying you get "more for your money".
There is an event October 1 and 2nd for $365 for two days. Anyone going to that one?
