I feel bad for Eric. Even if they fix the truck for free, he had to fly home and will have to get back to Mansfield to pick it up and then pick up the trailer. I guess he will be terrorizing TTC this weekend in his other car.
what happened to Wonger?

Buy Chevy/GMC to avoid the trucks that claim to tow the world and blow up under load. The limiting factor for most GMC/Chevy trucks is brakes, not the disposable motors.

I agree it stinks. Ford seemed to have something good in the older engines but all I hear about are problems with the newer ones.

I got a good one for the experienced. I broke two secondary cases in 2 race weekends!!??? They were different cases 2 different transmissions and 2 different people performed the work. What could cause a secondary to break? I have heard of rears and driveshafts from the idiots that drag the cars but never a secondary.

I won't race Summit this weekend but I might be there Saturday to watch the race and stay Saturday night for the fireworks.

Mounts gone bad? Something not lined up correctly? Motor mounts?

Motor mounts might be a possibility. I have never replaced them after 5 years of racing. The trans mount was OK and it is bolted to secondary. If the engine mounts are bad and the trans mount is the only mount damping vibration it could be transmitting too much vibration to the secondary case and shaking it apart.

I haven't changed anything else that would affect lining up and it raced ok in April and at Hyperfest. I thought the joints in prop shaft would elimimate any misalignment that comes from engine and diff moving under accel/decel but it could be that the prop shaft is the problem.

Still confused.

^I watched it yesterday. I could have done without all the hollywood special effects stuff. I just want to see the driving. That car is absolutely awesome although I liked it when he was driving a Subaru better.

I enjoy Ken Block's stuff and even liked all the special effects at the end. What amusement park was that? It's pretty cool of them to let him savage the place like that.
