Miatas tend to be unbreakable, no one wants to steal them, they get close to 30 mpg in mixed driving, parts are cheap, they are easy to work on, and there is a huge performance aftermarket for them. As a daily driver, I'll take a Miata over a S2000.

I got a great price on this on (2010 model).

I still have my S2000 for the track.
Must be nice to pick up a 2010 anything as a beater.

For those not my facebook friend, I won 2nd place in my class at the SCCA National Eastern States Rallycross Championship in Connecticut this weekend in my Civic.

It was a Blast! They got around 22-30 inches of snow in the middle of last week.

The changing grip levels were unreal, going from a semi hard recycled aspalt to gravel to loose snow to a sheet of ice.

That being said tons of cars had to be pulled out of snow banks by trucks.

Here are a few pictures of the event:

The car did sustain some battle damage thanks to a large wall of snow in an icey section.

Also Honda started offering contingency money this year too, so I won $100 for getting 2nd. I don't think it will quite cover a new bumper though.

Looks great Pete. Would have been better in black, but you know what they say about opinions....
