DUDE. It would be AWESOME if you made the trip up. Would really like to compare to you in NJ where the lot is good and the courses are long, and where there are no complications.

We get 6-8 runs, and possibly more at the event.

Here is the link: http://motorsportsne.com/. You click on the "register for all open events" and you will see the event on Sunday the 29th. Classing also helps you since all classes assume R-compound tires. I am in BB, but you would probably be in AA or something like that.

There are some really good drivers there, and this will be a great opportunity to get ready for Divisionals.

They will be on the 2nd biggest lot, which is about 10% smaller than the enormous lot, but courses will still be in the over 60 second range with no crossovers, and pure racing.

A good event for you to shoot for top pax.

It is this lot here, and believe it or not, this is the second biggest lot.

Registration closes tomorrow at midnight. 80 of 100 spots have been taken.

Gonna be making minor changes to experiment with rear sway bar once I get in a few runs as it is.

No, you are looking at the test and tune. There are two events. Look above that for "autocross #2" It was at 82/100. Filling up now that the weather is showing only 10% chance of rain (down from 40% the other day)

LOL. If you are referring to the video I posted yesterday, if you click on the video to open it in YouTube you will see that it was 100% stock at the time, minus the wheels and front sway.

The grip is from the lot and possibly from balancing the car properly. The courses up there allow you to throttle steer, which I think is super fun.

Gotta get away from Fedex to really see what these cars can do. It also restores confidence.

Hershey has a great lot, as does Waldorf, just smaller.

No secret.

LOL, true, but that video was without Hoosiers, and Hoosiers mask driving problems. To truly win in a competitive class on Hoosiers you still need to possess all of the driving attributes which are more conspicuously lacking when on street tires. Plus street tires are less expensive to learn on.

Looking forward to Sunday

I do need to pick me up that front sway bar and the miata front sway bar for the rear. But I'm saving for my trip to Hawaii in November. So for now it's just setting up with alignment and tire pressures and becoming a better driver. But the BMW event on the 21st I came in 2nd to AJ but noone really good showed up for x4. And I can definitely tell how much of a difference this new lower control arm has made. Cuz my first event with BMW the compliance bushing was broken and I didn't know so I ran SCCA Pratice with it broken as well. And now it stays more planted with less understeer. So I wanna see if it makes a difference in placing on the 6th with SCCA. (came in 13th last time) lol

But I do want to eventually make it to these places you all keep talking about.
