Yeah, I softened the front sway after the event. The car exhibited nearly no oversteer the whole event. Actually, Brian told me the power difference was only noticeable from 3000 to 5000 rpm. I watched his videos and it was 100% due to him lifting during the front slalom. He never hit the limier in his car or mine. That will change as he gets more comfortable with the car, of course. That was a benefit of the stiffer front bar, but the remainder was detriment at this event. It was the same in NJ, but the competition wasn't as good as Brian, so I was able to still eek out wins there. I agree with you, and we will see how the changes go for tomorrow.

Did you see the course map for tomorrow? What mph are doing in 2nd when you hit your limiter?

No. What is the link? Stock was about 56-7 on the limiter. Now it is 60.

I hope it is not all slaloms, or I will have to undo my change to the front. Sweepers will be much better now, and slaloms will be OK, rather than excellent.

Hey Noel,

I was under the impression that using a two step (launch control) was illegal for all but pro solo's. Is this not true? I need to get mine working.
It always seems way slower when I watch myself

We made twenty drivers. Nice turnout. This is what you missed if you could not attend. It was a very different WDCR design, and honestly it was really awesome. I liked that it was a 60 second course. That's how the old WDCR events were in the other lot all the time. So much fun.

We ran last, and the grip was very good by then. Watch in 720p on YouTube

Aside from the start, the course had some serious speed to it. Would have loved one more crack at it, but who wouldn't.

Damn....17th in PAX Noel. Nice Job. Can't believe I would have snuck into the top 5 if I didn't hit every cone on the course at least once.

Thanks Mike. I think part of my abnormally good pax placement is due to the morning being damp? That's probably about ten to twenty people who would have been ahead. But either way, a top 25 to 30 isn't bad. I look to the fact that I was only a second behind Erik K who lead BS to feel confident that my pax was truly good and that it was not due to the placement of STR in the last heat since BS was immediately before us. Eric is always on the good side of the pax list.

I could see you in the top 5 Mike. Your car seems better than ever, and you certainly are driving it well.

NJ here we come.
