2012 MD/NOVA Auto-X Thread
No. This was right at the BWI airport. When landing on runway 10, the lot is like right off to the right when about to touch down.. It's in a quasi restricted area for cargo trucks and what not. It's smaller than Bowie.
Got a line on a motor to replace my super smokey one that is in the car now....
It's down about 30whp, and I am going to need it for Nationals.
The old motor is going to be torn down and turned into a fire breathing 14:1 compression, big cam, ITB motor for a potential move to SSM or FP. Maybe mate it to a 6sp sequential
. I need to plant a few more money trees, though.

You should pick FP, you would dominate SSM with out much competition locally.
Yeah, this lot is federal property; they have cameras and federal agents driving by if they see anyone on the cargo side. They are very strict; I am surprised they let us rent that lot for Auto-X.
-The lot is not the best, a lot of poles, concrete walls and curbs in the center of the lot like Noel mentioned; basically it is really hard to design a safe course that you don’t have to loop around a couple times, and make some sharp or U turns unless you want a 20 second course.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I thought the course was at Bowie and could not understand why the course looked so tight.
Ricardo runs KWs with my eibach springs... I drove his car a few times and it is grippy and handles similarly to my Motons, although I am not saying the two are comparable...
I think the problem with kw is inability to revalve??

Jeff, I think I might actually go to that one. I was going to do the VMSC event this weekend but I'm on-call for work so I axed that plan. I was looking around and saw that NASA was running at VMP on the 16th. I wish I had at least a pair of stiffer springs to throw up front before then to try out but I might just go as is and see what happens. Not sure yet. I haven't had the car out at an event since Oct/Nov of last year
