Against all odds my gopro remained attached to my car while in the front grill and attached to the top of the car. This is my first time using my gopro and it really did its job well.

Tips from any of the track experts here are always appreciated.
Nice, your line out of 4 into 5 needs a bit of work, and 4 needs much more speed

According to my Instructor I wouldn't have passed you on Saturday if you had a Ford V8 lol

-Mike (Jim's brother)
Haha I don't think a Ford over chevy v8 would've made any difference. First track event in over a year with a new torquey car = me being a little more cautious.

Next event I'm going back to asking for s2000 instructors. This one didn't have a headset and did some weird things. It was difficult but I still tried to do some things he suggested even though I didn't think it was the fastest way around the track. For example, turn 9 he told me to hug the inside of the turn and stay right side all the way down the track. Overall I did pick up a few new things from him though.

haha, I know, I thought it was a hilarious comment. He was a mustang time trials guy

I'm sad I wasn't in the corolla later in the weekend, it would have been fun.

It's small and can be zip-tied to anything. Long cable means it can go anywhere. Batteries are 25 cents each when bought in bulk and last for days each. And if you break or lose one, you're out all of $20. These were all recorded with it:

How are you all mounting the go-pro with a mic, since you can't use the oem casing - it blocks the external mic port?

I haven't got that far yet. I am planning on picking up a mic for next year and will cross that bridge when I get there. Maybe the non waterproof case has a hole in it? If not, one can be drilled into it I would assume.

Ok yeah, that's what I figured. Also, I didn't know gopro had a skeleton (non-waterproof) housing. I might just drill into my OEM one because I purchased the gopro dive housing for underwater lens correction.

Skeleton housing or DIY with drill... I have both and prefer the one I drilled because it can then be re-waterproofed(ish) with tape.

David, have you seen the size of that microphone? It's as large or larger than the gopro itself.
It was a poor attempt at a joke, LS1 + RX-7 = LS7

When he said to hug the inside in T9, were you braking super late?
