Is the Pope Catholic?

More elevation change than VIR. T1 long right uphill, downhill esses, fast left uphill at end of esses, long right hander uphill to crest and huge downhill long right to finish lap.

The elevation changes at Road Atlanta are really crazy. No other track I have been on even comes close.

I think a road trip for a NASA SE event next season might be in the works.

Worth the trip but it is a hell of a long drive to get there.

Google maps says 600 miles and ~8 hours

Other Bucket list tracks

Mid Ohio 6 hours 400 miles

Road America 13 hours

Watkins Glen 330 miles 5.5 hours

Hmm?

George,

starvation is a good possibility with sustained corners plus the downhill esses turn after turn with I'm sure alot of sloshing around.

I'm 3.5 hours from Watkins and will probably attend 2013 nasa ne. That could get expensive for hpde, i heard scda puts on a good couple days there and it is reasonable.

MidOhio is more technical and less of a HP track so I think it is worth the trip.

RA is ALL HP so probably not worth the trip in the miata or S. You still have that corrvette?

So did the NASA Southeast. Looks like we are doing another crossover race with you guys again next year at VIR in October.

Just got back from Road Atlanta. Engine went "KABOOM" coming down the hill into T12 at about 100mph. We blew rods right through the block. I was finishing up my 2 hour stint when it went. We have a worse record then the Redskins.
Sorry to hear that. Was this during the Toy Run weekend enduro?
