Turn 1, combo of trying to see how deep I could brake and running out of rear pad. It wasn't a super fast off, but I had no idea how deep that gravel was...

I assume you'd bolt it to the frame on the nose (if the nose opening were a mouth the frame rails are where the canine teeth are). You could use a self tapping 3/8" bolt to secure it. In the rear I would try to use the rear bumper's tow hook receptacle--find a big bolt of the same thread as the tow hook.

You should write up a how-to when you do, so I don't have to do any thinking on my own.
