Then I knew others that had blown up gearboxes on the stock turbo.
There are S2000 owners that go through half a dozen differentials...

Is this because the components are weak, or because it gets too hot on track?

Spent last night at the track. Just 6 people and NOBODY else. Pretty cool.

Got to zip around with Matt (car looks great with the new RaceLabz cage) and play around with wifey and her Miata.

The Miata has really grown up over the years.

I like the clouds in this pic. Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war!
Best of both worlds! Both double duty cars.
Actually, that's usually the worst of both worlds. That was my experience anyway

I went to VIR on December 2010 for some charity laps. There was one of those cars there being driven by the owner and you could get a 3 lap ride-along for $10.00. I did and wow ... that thing can move. Atone point, he took oak tree bend really slow in 2nd, short shifted into 3rd (doing maybe ~ 45-50 mph) and floored it through 4th gear. We were doing 147 mph wayyy before the brake markers for turning into the Patriot course. I was impressed.

Nice job of fabricating there George. I like those plastic ducts--they look like they may be usable in the S2000 to help clear the tires.

I want to rub my private parts on that car. I saw one of his shows but all he was doing was installing the tail lights.

I've never had a differential problem (knock wood) and I don't remember Skip every having a problem either. They do get hot though and I recommend a good quality full synthetic at a thicker than stock viscosity.

Pete, both cars look great
