TrackDaze events on Shenandoah did not require a rollbar last year. This is always subject to change, so don't take my word as authoritative.

Just got an email back from TrackDaze and they said for Summit Point and Shenandoah the stock roll hoops are fine, not sure if he meant just Shenandoah or all Summit Point events.
For NJMP and VIR you can run with stock roll hoops, but you need to pass the broomstick test with an inch of clearance.
Looks like it'll just be Summit Point for me, I'm excited for finally getting on the track this year.

sooo, how does one go about getting invited to an instructor clinic?
I been doing track events since 2006 (when I was 19), and been in HPDE3/Solo for the last 3 years.
I really enjoy teaching and helping people progress. Let me know how you guys that are current instructors did it. thanks!

Can't wait for this season! I'm hoping to have the car done around April-May and not have to spend money on fixing it all year. My dad and I got started welding the cage in yesterday. Unfortunately the front set of landing perches were missing so we couldn't get as much done as we had hoped. Here is a pic of the main hoop and rear down tubes just sitting in there mocked up. Hopefully next weekend we will make some good progress on it.
Here's to a fun and safe season for all!

Anyone else planning on running HC1 with NASA? My brother and I are coming down from Boston MA for the VIR event in March and the Summit Point event in April with our two S2000's.
Also, please add COM Sports Car Club to the schedule. They'll be at Summit Point Monday and Tuesday, April 29-30, after the NASA Saturday and Sunday event. There is typically very few drivers who make the trip down from New England, where the club is based out of, for this event. Only 27 people attended the event last year. Plan on a huge amount of track time if you sign up with them. They also have a time trial on the afternoon of the second day.
You need a proper roll bar (stock hoops don't cut it) to run with COM in any convertible.

Yup. H1, #108. More the merrier! There is at least one other S2000 H1 regular in the Mid ATL. JFO.
