2013 Track Junkie Thread
You answered your own question. Kevin let me borrow his trunk for a session. Typically, without the wing, through Big Bend I either had to be easy on the throttle leading up to turn in or I had to modulate it after the apex in order to make it around the turn. I put the wing on and within a few laps was going through it flat out(that is how I drive
). I seriously never would have thought it was that helpful. My speeds at the end of that straight were 103-104 without the wing and a consistent 107 with the wing. I would love to go back for an entire weekend with a wing to see how much more I could improve with it. All that being said, my biggest slide through Big Bend (and about the only time that I almost shat myself this weekend) came with the wing on the car.
S2k friends, will any of you be joining us at the Fall Finale? It won't be the same without you! http://eepurl.com/G3puL
Thanks and hope to see you soon,

It did feel better, but I have not quite trusted it yet...however, I did notice times when I'd just leave the pedal flat in the Big Bend and go...I don't remember ever being flat out without the wing the previous event end of September. I also am probably not quite as sensitive to changes as some of the more advanced drivers though.
Approaching "LAST CALL" time for the Fall Finale Nov 2-3 at Summit! Hyperdrive and Kart Enduro are full. HPDE1, HPDE3, and HPDE4 are almost full.

Planning to as of now at least. It's always a nice finale to the season.
