2013 Track Junkie Thread
Signed up for the NASA event the 27th/28th! Spring Rumble. Anyone else going?
So I was about to sign up for the TrackDaze Shenandoah event too on the 18th/19th...the price for two days is $400!!! I don't remember it being anywhere close to that last year...wasn't it about $340 like NASA events?
Ugh, I guess I will still sign up since I like the track and TrackDaze gives more track time...
Edit: So it is $365 if you sign up before the 26th...it is just presented in a weird way where it gives you the discount after adding to the cart. I signed up for that event too! Now I need to let my bank acct recover for a few weeks before signing up for Hyperfest...

When is the next Shenandoah event for everyone? I'd like another opportunity to clean things up & improve my time.

I like running the reverse course.

I ran it backwards once and liked it. It's amazing how you see elevation changes you never noticed going the other direction. The hard part for me was carrying enough speed through Big Bend then braking hard and turning at the same time through Little Bend but remembering to carry enough speed to make it up the steep uphill to the Corkscrew.

In the Miata used the uphill section in little bend to slow the car, the Karosell is different when you are on the high end,
I don't remember them in 96 but I was not doing any track stuff either. They could plug up a radiator I guess or a windshield.
