Of course...but if you got the CR would you transfer the roll bar in? Or, beater + race S2000 + trailer.

Yea I would transfer the roll bar, no soft top remove makes it easier.

True, a CR would be a good pickup. You would have the hardtop so you could net a portion back selling your old hardtop.

Isn't jim too young for one of those, George?

V8 is way more fun on track than my boosted s2k was. I could be thinking of how much more stable my rx7 feels though. Need more seat time in my rx7.

LOL.

Really, that is surprising. Did you have much turbo lag in your s2k? How much torque did you have in that compared to the LS1?

Wait... You calling me old? you whippersnapper

Torque just makes it easier for old guys, less shifting, and less worry about perfect lines just point in the general direction and go.

Well since Pete is bragging about his new car, I will too.

new road car. 2011 335d M Sport. Been looking for about a year and finally found one with <4500 miles with almost all the options I wanted.

Turbo diesel.

425 lb ft torque. Its a beast.

Its got more HP and torque than the V8 Tundra I use to tow the S2000 to the track. Also gets high 30s on the highway. Could be the best car I've ever driven.

^Nice, that's a good color too. I had no idea those things had so much torque from the factory. I wonder if they have a reinforced drivetrain compared to the standard 335i. What's the price of diesel these days?
