Well, that's the year for me. Finished the TrackDaze VIR Event yesterday. Monday was Full Course, Tuesday was Grand Course. I had a blast, definitely doing at least one event here next year too.

Obligatory videos of my last and best half-sessions of each day (didn't want to bother showing all the green group traffic). We had some rain through sessions 2 and 3 of day 2, which really forced me to get smoother and helped my overall speed in the dry on session 4. Day 2 was great because we lost about half the field, so the track was super open.

Day 1:

Day 2:

BTW, anybody have problems with Harry's LapTimer not syncing to the video? It both long and short changes me on certain laps when I tried to get it to overlay, hence the fact that I didn't bother. Would a better GPS input help?

^Lucky!!! I can't wait to do VIR next year...

So there are used RB kits for sale, the seller says only a track weekend plus 500 miles on the components. Judging by these pics, what do you think of the rotors? Is what he saying true?

Those don't look lightly used to me. Ask him what happened to the aluminum hats. Maybe it's custom weight reduction on the hats?

The RB logo on the calipers also looks well used. 500 miles plus a track day and I would expect that RB logo to look a lot brighter.

Yea, I agree. The backside of the rotors shown in the top pic look bad with deep gouges. I wouldn't call that lightly used. The hats look fine to me and the calipers just look dirty.

I'll be the third to chime in that those rotors look beat. Whatever pad he was using could not hold up to the heat judging by the pad smudge all over those rotors.

If it was me, I would pass.

Thanks guys for the feedback. By the way, he said the pads he used were HP+ and he used 75% of the pads within a weekend IIRC.

He uses pads like I do, thats impressive with a BBK. I'm guessing the HP+ just couldn't handle the heat.
