Default 4.77 gears

after i pay things off and get my own place i was thinking of doing a few light mods to the car, 4.77 gears being one of them. yes i know top end wont be as good and i'll need the yellow box but the trade off of accelerating faster is good. not to say i'm and definitely getting them i just wanted to hear some feedback. i already know dave and jeremy arent to fond of it lol. either way these mads are more than a yr or so away so who knows what could happen. i was also gonna get a better ecu or tuned, j's racing header and j's racing cooling plate. like i said nothign drastic but it should mildly increase performace.

dave22 wouldn't be fond of them. He could not be limited to such a low top speed when performing evasive manuevers.

Now that I have more torque/hp, I have thought about swapping to 4.44's or even stock 4.10's from the 4.57's I have now. Less shifting on some tracks. I will say that gears do make a difference in acceleration minus the time to shift.

I have heard that some 4.77s have gear whine, so that is something to keep in mind.
