Your speedometer not working is no excuse. I would know. My MR2's speedo stopped working altogether months ago and I tried using that excuse when I got pulled over. Still got a ticket.
i just went through this, i had court on tuesday for my reckless driving. My ticket was only 70 in a 50. As i was sitting in the court room I observed that there were alot of reckless driving tickets and very few were geting off. Even with lawyers, all they can do is keep the fines down, and possibly get it reduced to a just a speeding (however much above the posted limit). Now with a lawyer your best shot is to go for speeding 20+ above the posted limit and go for a small fine. But either way the reckless and the speeding ticket are both 6 point offenses, the only difference is that the reckless with stay on your record for 11 years and the speeding is only 5. But without a good record, positive safe driver points and a lawyer, you better break out the vasaline cause you are screwed. oh, and the sppedocalibration rarely works, it works on lower speed tickets and people with perfect driving records. But good luck my friend.

Hey "drive slower" is a complete sentence. With subjects and verbs and all that good stuff.

Slower - Adverb describing "Drive" the verb.
...and where is the subject?

With you being understood, sentences can be complete even if they are only a verb. e.g., "Stop!".
