Honestly though. Jeff is good people and has done alot for this community. Worry not.

Communication is not his strong point but he is an honest person.

I too have waited a week for my item I purchased (shift knob), tried contacting several times and left messages and no response.

I guess the terms and conditions page should be edited to say your item may and may not be in stock either way expect delivery 48 hours - 5 months depending on my schedule and how I feel. You can use these avenues to contact me but most likely I wont be available to respond to your inquiry or order you paid for because things take time and time goes on.

I don't wanna bash the company or the Jeff because I too have heard great things about him but it's just disappointing when you are expecting a high level of customer service and then your left without a clue to whats going on.

Lucky for me they don't sell seats and I bought Olegs oem seats or else I would be sitting on a damn milk crate as a chair

If I need anything for my car next time I will shop around and support local sellers unless HTG's promptness or communication improves

2 e-mails over 10 days and no response. I don't want to be the annoying one pestering him with 10 emails in 10 days.

It's sad because I've been holding out for 2 weeks almost to see that Jeff gets the business but I have no other choice but to go elsewhere if he does not respond as I do not want to wait any longer. All I wanted him to do was send me an invoice so I could pay for my nearly $800 in parts. Guess s2ki business is not that important to him anymore.

I used to order everything from him. Still a stand-up guy in my view, just wish he would send me an email to tell me he is too busy to take my order so I don't waste my time waiting.

I bought my hard top from him. He shipped it to me promptly and I installed it with no problems. Jeff is probably super busy prepping Skip's old car for next weekend's races

He has a phone number........

Have you considered maybe, calling him?

I have dealt with him a few times without any big issues - had one instance he shipped the wrong stuff to me but he had me ship back to him (and refunded that $$) and then shipped my stuff as planned.

Never answers. I got tired of calling over the years because he never picks up nor returns messages. I always got a quicker response by e-mail but it seems that times have changed.

Oh well....

excuses excuses. Some of you guys are ridiculous. I will personally vouch for the man after many years of no bullshit straight business between us.

How about you guys get up out of moms basement for a minute or two, grab a bottle of water and give the man a telephone call.

Sending someone a car hardtop isn't exactly like dropping a postcard to grandma at the mailbox...

With 39 posts in 8 years you feel as if you have the experience to pass judgement on an active member of our community? Or, is this someone we know hiding behind a second account?

HTG's woes are well documented with many members in regions all across the S2Ki boards. If you read is little as you have posted it's no surprise that you aren't aware of the trouble people have had getting their orders.

Edit: Looks like you've experienced this yourself?

Wow...Ass backwards much?

I've met Jeff personally, i've also purchased a few items from him, i've also been aware of his situation.

Actually not too long ago, I called him and he answered. I asked for a painted silverstone front lip. I told him that I wasn't able to pay at that same moment and he trusted me to pay him the next day and he even took my info over the phone. He literally sent the order before I paid.

I can understand people getting upset what's been happening, but i've never had an issue. Maybe I just have good timing i suppose.

I wish! I'd be willing to bet that nothing has been done to the car. It's softball season for his daughter. She pretty good and right now it consumes any free time he might have.

As for my "I wish!" he said I could drive it any time.
