Default Alignment - Updated, Question At Bottom!

My stock height S2000 won't fit on his new location's rack!

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alignment shop up in the Williamsburg-Newport News area?

I've used Berts in VA Beach and know about Ptuning in NOVA, but don't know of any here locally.

I just need a stock alignment with maybe a touch more of camber

Could compromise and cross the water to Mizelle's in Norfolk. They have done lot's of S2k work.

I 4th this.

And your visit will go something like this:

You: I need an alignment.

Service adjuster: Im going to have to have a tech look at your car, it might be too low.

You: Ok

Tech: Ya, I can do it but I wont be able to get it back into stock specs.

You: It's ok, I just want to make sure there is no toe or as close as possible.

------Waiting for job to be complete-----------

and then........

You drive away happy!

And aligned - Question though

Here are the specs:

Camber: -1.0/-0.9
Caster: 4.5/5.5
Toe: 0.00/0.00

Camber: -1.5/-1.5
Toe: 0.12/0.17

Is that caster ok for the front? I believe it was originally set up that way to compensate for the road crown, but I'm not sure if I'm better off with it evened out. Both are out of spec (5.8 to 6.3 is stock) so I'm concerned a little with the 4.5.

Ah appreciate it .eric. I just got off the phone with the tech that worked on it. Guy knew exactly what I was talking about and apparently wanted to speak with me before I left.

My driver's front is maxed forward for caster and the passenger is maxed back (he tried to compensate)

We're thinking a bent lower control arm on the driver's side. He physically could not adjust it any further. The pass. side he said was fine and would/could get into spec no problem.

I had a similar issue. Apparently some of the adjustments can also freeze up especially if your car came from a northern area that salts roads often. In some cases you can disasemble the assemblies and clean them up to make it easier from what I'm told. I'm sure it's a pain.
