Default Anyone doing the 20 March AutoX in DC?

Looks like there's a reasonable number of S2000's signed up. Anyone here? I'm looking forward to it...look for the "9K RPMS" license plate and slow lap times .

Oh, this is at FedEx field...linkage: http://solo.wdcr-scca.org/events/eve...?date=20050320

Ive never done a SCCA DC autocross... little scared at how big they are! There is a much smaller autocross in Frederick on the 19th however and I will be there. capitaldrivingclub.com

Can I go and watch? I know that sounds pathetic, lol, but I've never been to an auto-x before and I just want to see how everything works before jumping in...

Thats how I felt at the first one I went to... then I felt like an idiot for not racing. Come to the little one on the 19th... and race. You wont feel out of place anymore than half the other people racing and youll have an amazing time. There are at least 5-10 new racers at each of the autoxs ive been too... plus im bringing a couple people from hagerstown who have never raced before.... just do it, youll be happy you did you need to register soon though... they are only accepting 50 cars or so
I can't seem to find any info on the one on the 19th...? Do you know where I can find it??

capitaldrivingclub.com no www. its at the Harry Grove stadium in Frederick... you can see it from 70. Registration starts at 830 am on sat morning. To sign up you need to email a guy named Ed at capitaldriving@yahoo.com and tell him your name then make model year and color of your car. Last year when I went in my other car I saw a couple Ss.... Ill be in my S this year... trying to keep up with everyone else!
