Eff that. I make 17/hr and all my insurance premiums are paid in full for myself.

This is just entry level too. Most guys in Sales/Tech make around 40k/yr because of their bonus.. but I'm only in Email Support.

I'm a service writer, I said I make that right now, during training. I work about 10 hours a day and 3-4 days a week. After 2 months, I start making commision on every billed hour I send to the techs and thats about $4.50 for each one. The people that work there bill anywhere from 30-70 hours a day, so you do the math. Its about a 60k a year job with full benefits.
Once you learn how to write service and you ge to the right shop you can make $100K+/yr. I know a couple of guys who do that. You do need to have a good team and know how to upsell but I've seen it with a few guys I know.

2,000 work hours a year * $14 = $28,000 before taxes. In that tax bracket, you're probably looking at about $19-20k take home.
Good Stuff. I didn't take out holidays.

Either way, not that much. Although, for that age it is.
