Default auto-x

prolly could have found out if i wasnt lazzy.so i figured id ask you all.where is the closes track or place i can drive to one weekend an drive my car on a trackor course.im located in southern maryland about 30min south of d.c

AutoX doesn't generally happen on a track...

Are you looking for track days, or autox's? They're totally different.

should have been more specific.a road course i can drive around on an actually push the car to its limits.i dont kno much about it so be easy on my lack of knowledge.

but most of not all of those tracks require an aftermarket roll bar.

Capital Driving Club has a pretty good FAQ on its website about what autox is.

I've found it a great way to learn to push the car. More importantly, i've met a number of other s2k drivers and had the privilege to ride in their cars when they run - to better show me what i'm NOT doing effectively enough. There are a few good Autox schedule threads in the area.

I know CDC is running at Bowie this weekend - and other clubs will use the same site (mazda club is running the following week).

Wish you didn't need one. I'd love to get out to an HPDE this summer. Autox is cheap and fun though.
