Hey guys, I just signed up for heat one (the only one left). Hope to see some familiar faces as this will be my first autocross. Anyone know what a good time to get there would be?

great to see ya give this a whirl! First car is off at 9:30. You need to register (give 'em your $$), put on your numbers (white shoe polish on the windshield will suffice), clear out the trunk and floormats, pump up your tires and get the tech inspection. Then there's the driver's meeting and coursewalk. So, getting there at least around an hour before is a good idea. see ya Sunday.

 

This may sound dumb but.. do you have to have a helmet for this event?

 

Yes. But it's an AI event, and they generally have a collection of fashionable bright orange loaners.
