I think I have narrowed it down to having the heater on. I drove 16 miles to work (stopping twice to let the temp. come down) this morning and the air never got hot. I had the control dialed all the way and the fan speed on 4. After the 2nd time overheating I turned the heat off and drove the rest of the way into work no problem. Well, I found this peculiar so I drove PAST my work parking lot to circle the block so to speak and turned the heater back on. Low and behold, the gauge crept back up slightly warm. But, this was only at 40mph max. On the highway when it went all the way up, I was doing highway speeds of 65-75mph. I'm headed back to Hendrick now.

Just some air in the system. All is good again! I'll go ahead and let this thread die now...
