Default Best "Do-It-Yourself" Service Manual

Should I buy the Honda manual for my 2002 or is there a better manual out there for working on you S2K?

Thanks,
Don

You can buy it from the dealer or you can do what almost everyone else here does and get the "Helm" manual. Go to helminc.com I believe the Helm one is cheaper.

The Helm's manual is a great deal. If you plan on doing any work on the car, it's worth it just for reference and wiring diagrams.

Is the helm manual any better than the honda service manual?

The two "appear" to be the same and the Helm costs a bit less than the "official" Honda manual. I believe that Helm is authorized by Honda to produce its manual. I have never seen any board member indicate that they have the Honda manual. But hey, I'm sure your dealer will simply love to take your money.

Well, I've got the honda manual and I love it. It was a birthday gift, thats when I knew my parents truely loved me . I've used it for everything, even if it comes with instructions, just to clarify or cross reference. I havent seen the helm, but I would recommend the Honda service to anyone that does there own work!
