Default Best Valve Adjustment Place in Richmond, VA?

Hi all,

Looking for any RVA folks' input on where to get a valve adjustment. From searching the forum, it seems like people have recommended places up in NoVA and also Cory in Newport News, but both of those are over an hour away. Any recommendations for me?

Thanks!

Did you end up going somewhere since you didn’t get anyone to answer? Looking to do one too. There’s a guy close to me that’s apparently done his own and said he’d help me. Doesn’t look too tough. Lot of info on YouTube.

Dirt simple albeit tedious. Engine needs to be cold so driving it somewhere is really not an option unless you leave it overnight. $20 worth of Amazon tools and a gasket set is all ya need. I've done mine and have the tools if you want to try.

You, sir, are indeed the guy I was referring to. I just haven’t had the time to reach out to you. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from hondaautomotiveparts.com and included in the order we’re new gaskets. Having never removed the head I figured it would be good to go ahead and have them on hand before venturing into it. I anticipate being in touch with you soon if it is still okay.

Only have to remove the valve cover, not the cylinder head -- but that's probably what you meant.
