Evan, I wouldn't do this inside if I were you. It'll take weeks before the smell of resin is gone. especially the polyester resins that home depot sells.

 

Sorry the pic is a little dark, but I was trying to get really close up to the lip because the crack isn't that big or noticable. You're looking at the passenger side toward the grill if you're familiar with an "amuse" lip.
