Default Bye Sandy!

Well I wouldn't say good bye completely but as for my area, we are through with the hard part.
I didn't get hit hard here though (Severn MD) but I hope everyone is ok Hopefully no cars/houses got damaged!
Looks like some areas are getting slammed with snow. Update us with pictures! (If you still have power) Be safe everyone!

Things went well for us in my area also (Lanham, MD). I didn't lose power either, rare for me. I'm usually without power for days, every time mother nature sneezes. 1 big tree has fallen into another & some small branches are down. Things to deal with at a later date. I had to pick up some fish out of the front yard, from a pond that overflowed.

Much better than the wind storm we had in July. I lost 8 vehicles then & 1 military trailer in a storm the week earlier. Still haven't settled with the insurance company from that storm.

I hope that everyone is safe & well. My prayers go out to those who were hit harder than us.

The world needs more yellow - arbez

Yeah, it looked like the Jersey shore and NYC were murdered. Fortunately, we dodged the bullet by about 50-100 miles. My S had a few leaves on it this morning

Stayed with my mother in McLean for the duration. Got power back last night. Unfortunately, my +1's parents live in Little Ferry, NJ which was hard hit by flooding. He is headed up there Fri with a carfull of relief suplies. We had a lot left over - water, canned goods etc.

I got some nice flooding in my basement and a good size tree limb down on my car which = fail! But it could've been so much worse. I'm waiting to see how my DE house survived :/
